Is it me, or is the pace of things really running slow around here?

Soooooooo slooooowwww. Takes a long time now to post memes. And I posted this comment like yestetday. Ha ha.

I have a few memes that climb in views slowly, so three or more days later they're in mid to upper hundreds. That's a long time to wait. Even memes don't move fast off the "Hot" pages! You used to go from page one to page ten in less than a day! It takes a week now! I agree with Batman! Lol

too many people just don't feel inclined to upvote something that was a bit funny to them. but when they saw something of equal value having attracted downvotes, they seemed to feel more inclined to up it

Yea, I see what your saying, I liked the pace of things before hand, this is agonizingly slow! Thanks for commenting, I thought I was going crazy! ;)

I may plead guilty myself. It's like you should submit them on Monday and check back on Friday!

I would tend to agree, but I have seen them jump from latest to 1st page in in under 10 hours. I will say this, I think a lot of the users are getting lazy or at least don't execute site etiquette. I have noticed lately so many are commenting and responding and not bothering to upvote the meme they comment on or the comment they reply to. All of which help things move faster.

I agree with you, I've noticed people not upvoting the comments, too! I liked the speed of the site before the "No Downvote" that's all. Getting views takes forever though! Damn!

I think its a matter of their being mods that are more hands on. Several of us noticed a lot more were coming out right away as NSFW. I think they added more filters that are flagging more for mod review. Any custom template anymore seems to take 10-12 hours or more. I also notice certain subjects getting flagged. Its kind of a guessing game right now imho.

Wow!! That long!! I haven't done any custom templates but mine are averaging 2-4 hours.

Yep, timing the customs has been a real pain so that they don't get lost in that 2:00 am release. It seems though that the later you submit, the faster they come out. So that really makes timing it tough.

Yea, I had this whole theory on timing a meme, particularly if I thought it was decent! So it would get the most eyes looking at it. Now it sounds like somewhat of a craps shoot! As far as custom one s go.

I found early morning best for me on custom. Then they are usually out late afternoon.
