The KKK was founded in 1865. Peaceful Christians have had 150 years to "step up" against the lunatic fringe here at home.

And we did, by effectively eradicating them. Most Klansmen these days are FBI informants. When they hold a rally, the reaction is always more "point and laugh" than anything else.

Exactky 150 years is a pimple on the ass of thousands of years that tge 3 major monotheistic religions have existed... And which of the 3 is still acting like a 5 yr old having a tantrum?

islam is 4thousandvyears old and still spreading its religion largely by overt force. Christianity also was guilty of that sin.. Inquisitions, crusades etc.. While it is far from perfect, it at least sees the hypocrisy in conversion through overt death threats. That was a direct result of the silent majority no longer being silent.. Clock still ticking for all those good Muslims to step up. Dying for a cause ( martyr, Saint) is different than killing for a cause (terrorist, martyr?)

If you are looking for all those good Muslims to step up, look no further than the two hour old Washington Post article titled "Shiite Muslims hold anti-terrorism rally in Washington".

Gutsiest move I ever saw. Wait.. Protesting in DC huh? Let's see them with Louis Farrakhan walking arm in arm down a Detroit street in a Muslim neighborhood. Kidding. I want to see MLK like protests of American Muslims walking arm walking down Isis controlled streets. Then I'll listen. The crisis in their religion needs to be brought to a head. They need to take their religion back..

Reactive strategy,.. not proactive. Why do they wait to rally rather than weed out the radicals? We are supposed to believe that of the 1.6B muslims in the world,.. there is this handful of extremist wreaking havoc around the world and there is nothing the good ones can do about it,.. so it takes this enormous coalition of western countries militaries around the world,.. to control the handful. I say horse dung. If the problem of radical haters is so few,.. why are "good moderate muslims", leaving western countries by the thousands to join ISIS? if its a handful of bad,.. why cant the mosque weed them out wher they worship?

There is another issue that can't be overlooked sadly, that makes it even scarier.. It's much easier now for a single determined nut to kill thousands. If the kkk had napalm and half a brain I'm sure they would have done a lot more damage than they did.
Hsnity's ability to kill more efficiently continues to outpace its ability to acquire the wisdom not to use it.

Kkk .. although ruthless in some of their criminal activity, was motivated by mostly bigotry. Islam is a system of government 1st,.. a religion 2nd, but identifies as a religion. All islamic countries have most of it governance based on islamic law, shariah, etc. The kkk was very contained,.. and not approved by the general population, .. unlike Islam. We have already seen what small numbers of nuts can do, such as on 9/11,... so i agree with you,.. that the threat to the US is far worse by islam,... than the klan ever was.

Agreed. Kkk was defensive inferiority complex like reaction to end of slavery.

Islam didn't start 4 k years ago more like 600 - 700 AD , BBC has a good documentary on the inquisition on YouTube debunking the general populations belief on what they think happened and if you think the crusades were something bad , you don't understand the crusades. Encyclopedia Britannica online can clear up some misconceptions on them.

Islam started soon after the Akedah in my mind. the dome of the rock Is a holy sight to Muslims, and the banishing of Ishmael by Abraham is its starting point for me. ( Catholic by birth, Jewish via conversion)

What you think and what is are two different things. Muhammad started their religion, he wasn't born until around 570 AD.

abraham was the father of monotheism and Muslims believe him to be the first behavioral islamicist as his name means " father of many nations". Mohammed just wrapped it in a bow and sold it better. Like how Catholicism did with Christianity. But yes: the official start of the organized religion of Islam, the one that advocates evangelism by the sword was Muhammad's baby. My bad for (not) confusing the Faith's birth with its institutionalization by a guy who moved its holiest sight to Mecca for " religious" reasons.

In fact, Muslims believe Islam started at creation of Adam and Eve.. It just took Big Mo to recognize it..

Christianity started with Catholicism when Jesus Christ said I will build my churchn historically you can find the first mention of " Catholic church " with Ignatius of Antioch around 110 AD if you don't accept Ekklesia Kath'oles found in Acts of the Bible. You may be confusing Christianity with Protestantism, that started in 1517 with Luther , before 1517 there was only Catholic , Eastern and Western rite.

Mohammad used his knowledge of both Christianity and Judaism to get his religion rolling. Before that you'll find no mention of islamists or their beliefs.
Some even say Mohammad had believed the heresy that was going on at that time and why he couldn't accept the Trinity.
That's why he says Moses and even Jesus prophesied Mohammad coming.

Wow. Nicean council. Formal attempt to unite various practicing Christians under 1 tent. No? Where they decided which books were in and which were out?m. No..? Catholic means "all inclusive" loosely., how about now?
Am I debating a 12 yr old or a 90 yr old catechism teacher?
Either way. I'm the idiot if I respond 1 more time. But the religion memes are coming now! Lol

No

It was not until the Councils of Hippo and Carthage that the Catholic Church defined which books made it into the New Testament and which didn't. Not Nicea .

"You don't understand the crusades"- as if I could describe their complete purpose, pros and cons in a meme reply. I know what I know, and I know what I don't know. Can you say the same?

I know what i know , and what i don't know, i don't go saying as if i knew. The crusades were only called on after some centuries of muslim oppression and slavery of European countries.

That's insane. Straw man argument much?
I would dive on a grenade to save a child attacked by one of these, or put myself in between them and their victim.. Or simply call the police. Not gripe that I'm being lumped in with a few bad apples. The masses of good Muslims hide for fear of retaliation by their overlords. They are victims in the middle east. But an educated responsible Muslim with an understanding of the social contract is mandated to step up. Where are they?

Kind of like demonizing all gun owners and the NRA,.. for irresponsible actions of a few. One priest steps out of line,.. "all catholics are bad". One bad cop,,.. they're all bad. Where does that generalization mentality come from I wonder,.. and why is it so easily accepted?
