That was my point. Most of these memes arent funny, just political opinions or topical news stories. Its rarely anything clever just nonsense that gets easy upvotes. Lame

I don't see a lot of unfunny political or topical news memes on the front page of imgflip, but I do see a lot of unfunny political/topical news memes on 9gag and Imgur. So the question is, do you want 9gag or Imgur here on Imgflip? Are those sight's front page funny to you?

Well i see a lot of that stuff on this sites front page so i really dont see a difference. It wasnt always like this either. When i joined a year ago it was clever original content

Totally agree with you, Dankerson. It seems many unfunny political agendas have seeped over here. Thank you for making great memes, so I get a few laughs during my break. I joined imgflop to laugh, not scroll through political agendas

This site has stayed pretty constant since i have been here, but I just peaked at your profile. If I had to guess 30-40% of your memes were political, do you think people would find them just opinions and not funny?

Well i checked your profile and you have like 90 to 100% unfunny memes. And wowzers they arent even political or overly opinionated, theyre just bad. Im done here lol

making sport of current events is COMEDY. it's actually more relative to more people than a single personal experience. sports, religion and politics aren't off limits. That thought makes the 3 even more of a target.

Lol thanks dude. Yeah im not trying to antagonize anyones memes, it just seems they post stuff thats more opinionated than it is meant to be funny. Im ok with political memes but theyre just overdone and lack humor in a lot of cases. And i know people agree because ive posted 2 bad luck brians to the effect of "too much politics" on here, and both got 100+ likes lol
