You can see the watermark below is also imgflip. so when they edited to create a custom meme, and uploaded the new image, imgflip put another watermark which wasn't identical size/position to the previous one.

What are you doing? You can only use the popular memes that come up. Otherwise you have to upload a template, and choose from your templates to meme comment. If you try to use one "from the 1,000s of memes" lol it won't come up. Is that what you are trying to do?
