The points are worthless, what I meant was that I don't do a whole lot of downvoting anyways...unless someone is just being an asshole to someone else.

I don't downvote much (unless it is something pretty profane) but ... I'm so broke that points would be like spending cash :-D Instead of fixing our oven or getting a haircut I could just buy a lot of things I don't like.

I don't like the fact there's a downvote button but you can't see the downvotes.It's like, what's the point of a downvote button if you don't see the downvotes. And the fact that if you can't see downvotes, you can't really judge what type of memes work and don't work. How will you know what people don't like if you can't see their downvotes?

I personally didn't downvote many memes, but it doesn't make sense to have a down vote button if you can't see the downvotes. Just take the downvote button off.

They said downvotes are still there and still effective but they don't want to draw attention to them with the red bar and count.

there's up and downvote buttons, but the bar is gone that showed a total of the votes is gone and there is only a score. so a meme with 3 upvotes may only have 3 upvotes, or maybe it has 23 upvotes and 20 downvotes, there's no way to tell now
