Denver, Cokorado sir. There's a shortage of skilled workers in the treats. $15 an hour just to starting wage for laborers and if you're experienced up to 20 an hour and if your journey man which means you have your own tools and experience for 10 years You're looking at 25 an hour easy. Licensed electricians and plumbers are making over 30 an hour. If you except the challenge of entrepreneurship such as my quest, One week you make zero dollars and the next 2000 .

There's good money in the trades nationwide I believe...welders, electricians, plumbers, HVAC...take a person 4 years in avfull time job to learn and master a trade...or school

We're in NC. My husband is a welder. They aren't paying much here for it. VA would be better in the shipyards but we're well into 40s and not interested in moving up there. Trades are my advice to young people but they are also very hard on the body.

Erectors/iron workers pay is more than production welders. Denver's economy is rocking, so i think it helps. Denver is an awesome city!

Not as a laborer. As a journeyman. I'm a master carpenter, certified welder, iron worker, certified extendable boom operator...blah, blah...everyone starts as a laborer or helper. If a guy puts his heart into it, pays attention, and works hard dependably-he moves up the ladder and learns the trade! You could do it if it's your type of thing
