They do actually have weapons of their own lol That is why WE use guns lol Our weapons are only now that much better than theirs. For thousands of years they out weaponed us :-D
Deer stand ... well, ever hear a deer in the woods? Barely lol They have stealth as well. Camouflage ... they were born with theirs.
The playing field is more level than you think. Hunt deer sometime and see how easy it is.
Absolutely. We've never tried boar hunting but pigs in general scare me. We've had a potbellied pig (who was precious and not very big but super smart and just stronger than a person can imagine until they've been around one) and I've been around full sized pigs.
If I were going out hunting anything I'd want a gun on me. :-)
The only thing that makes it 'seem' barbaric is that they are herbivores. Moose are herbivores but a moose is super territorial and will attack you and kill you if need be. Bulls ... also herbivores but are most definitely territorial and will kill you if need be.
Hungry. That is what makes people come up with great ways to get food. Deer ... FREE FOOD. ;-) Free AND healthy.
