Because they are so damm big, they may as well be that size. Ugh

I found one on my deck last year...he was about 4 inches tall...biggest one I've ever seen personally...I caught him and checked him out, then he checked me out...then he ran off...I like them myself...I've handled quite a few of them and I've never been bitten so there cool by me...

I like them as they are one of only few insects and bugs that will look back at you and check you out. It's like they're talking to you.

There are people who keep them as pets.

maybe a problem with my mobile device. I can do meme comments but it has to be from one that is of the dozen or so that are visibly qued... so that option has sever limitations.

Same here. I've had two memes make it to the front page out of 120+ memes. It doesn't bother me, though. Most of my memes get upvoted pretty well.
