#BlackLivesMatter means just that

I suppose all lives mattered throughout the Native American genocide, the enslavement of Africans, the Spanish-American War, the treatment of Orientals during the construction of the railroad, the treatment of the Irish, the treatment of Germans during WWII, the Japanese internment camps during WWII, or any other institutional racism...

...but suddenly when someone said maybe black lives matter too, #AllLivesMatter started coming out of the woodwork. Coincidence? I think not.

I think you've done well in helping me point out hypersensitivity, cognitive dissonance, how some egos bruise easily. Read the meme over and over again. Maybe the message will sink in. If you got horribly offended by #blacklivesmatter... then that just says something about you. Part of which is that you could use thicker skin.

by highlighting the fact/idea that "Black Lives Matter" by Omission you are in fact stating that "Black Lives matter, More"...

in addition to that, ONLY saying 'Black Lives Matter" when the 'Black Life' in question was ended by the Constabulary (before knowing Why), while ignoring the exponentially higher number of Black lives Lost to Other Black people also highlights the hypocrisy of the statement

not unlike the joke, to which the Punch line is "the captain was sober today" a single log entry of that statement implies that on all other days in which the Captain's Sobriety is not noted, that he was in fact Not sober.

If you’re offended by the statement, you’re part of the problem. It's a simple statement of fact. Black lives matter. It doesn’t offer any additional explicit meaning.

So if you think it means anything other than simply that the lives of black people should be valued equally to others, you’re inferring that in someway that it devalues the lives of whites... which frankly... is bullshit. And probably means you're racist if not just hypersensitive.

Of course all lives matter. But not everyone sees it that way. Hence... #blacklivesmatter.
