Cool! I grew up in Pittsburgh till I was 16, Pittsburgh Rare was created in the steel mills, the men would have there lunches and they would bring whatever they had and warm, cook it by putting it in the blast furnace for a few seconds. Someone had the brilliant idea of doing that with a steak! I've actually seen that done when I was a little kid, my father knew someone in th he industry, and I watched them do that to a steak! It only took 10-12 seconds, maybe less to do that, it was pretty quick! 3000+ degree furnace!! It was also loud as all hell too, I remember! Lol
