Re: creationism, your comment seems to be based on a misconception that is sadly too common these days. That misconception is that science has proved that the claims of the Bible of creation aren't true. This is false. There is nothing in the Bible that has been scientifically called into question. There is no scientific knowledge that indicates that our universe is anything more than several thousand years old. This is because there is no way to measure age directly. Conclusions regarding carbon-dating, radio-isotopes, etc., are based on assumptions about starting conditions and other factors that they have no way of verifying with observation.
One thing we are certain of, however, is that scientific theories about origins of the universe are constantly in flux, and have many of their own problems and unanswered questions. They're not in a position to evaluate the infallible word of God.
While there are scientists who disbelieve the Bible, they do so for political, personal, or religious reasons, not because of anything to do with scientific truth.
Re: homosexuality, even if it has been "proven" that you can't choose your sexuality (which I doubt), it's not even relevant. I might have the inclination to lie from since I was born, or certain situations might tempt me to lose my temper, but that doesn't mean those things now become okay.
Just because someone has a natural inclination to do something in certain situations doesn't mean that we replace the moral standards of the Bible.
