I am not for banning anything. I am a gun owner. We need better laws that hold people accountable. People "lose" guns and never pay the price for doing so. Guns should be more difficult to obtain than a drivers license. It's laughable how easy it is to get and keep guns in some states.

I'm a gun owner. My plan would include nationwide consistent laws that would require background checks and waiting periods. I would also require guns to be registered and insured. Like cars. I would also make owners of guns that "lose" them accountable for any crimes commited with them.
Speaking of habitual gun losers....if you happen to "lose" guns say more than once....you lose the right to own guns.

That's a start. Remember: ALL guns start out legal. It's not like S&W is selling them out the back door to kooks and criminals.
