Picard Wtf Meme | SO PEOPLE THINK IT'S WRONG TO SAY THAT A PERSON WHOSE VALUES CONTRADICT THE U.S. CONSTITUTION SHOULDN'T BE PRESIDENT? | image tagged in memes, picard wtf | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
I don't think people really understand that the separation of church and state that the U.S. enjoys isn't assumed in the Islamic faith. The Islamic faith has political goals which are contradictory to the U.S. constitution and to the long-term existence of the United States as a free nation.

I don't know who Rick Perry is, but yes, what you're saying makes a lot of sense to me, and I can understand why you'd have that concern.

If you were forced to choose one or the other, which would you see as less desirable: a committed Muslim in the White House, or a committed Christian in the White House?

(I'm trying to avoid the word "radical" because it can connote different things - by "committed" I mean someone who takes it seriously and follows the precepts of that religion conscientiously.)

Not trying to score a point off you. I understand both situations would be undesirable (that's how I'm interpreting you). I just want to see if you acknowledge there are some differences.

Really? Who in the f**k is actually practicing sharia law? I know plenty of Muslims and have yet to come across any that even practice that shit. Stop going to the ultimate extreme in these debates.

Really? This what you source as proof? A neo conservative, islamaphobic, radical right wing association that isn't sanctioned by any government agency, who deal in conspiracy theories and cultural division. If this wasn't so go***mn funny I'd cry.

Bill Maher agrees and he's not a neocon. In reality it doesn't matter any way. The greatest threat to America is Americans regardless of religion. I personally don't care who's doing the killing. Wack jobs are wack jobs. But there is definitely a harsh culture clash headed our way regardless of our political and philosophical ideology. I guess we'll see how it all plays out over the next twenty years.

I'm not sure it's assumed in the Christian faith either. Tekbarrier says it best. I wouldn't want a radical Muslim or Christian in the whitehouse.

People questioned jfk's Catholicism and Romneys Mormonism and that is ok . It's your right to question it and ask if their belief would go against the constitution. Now, vote your conscience, not my conscience. But take all things into consideration no matter th time it takes
