I don't know who Rick Perry is, but yes, what you're saying makes a lot of sense to me, and I can understand why you'd have that concern.
If you were forced to choose one or the other, which would you see as less desirable: a committed Muslim in the White House, or a committed Christian in the White House?
(I'm trying to avoid the word "radical" because it can connote different things - by "committed" I mean someone who takes it seriously and follows the precepts of that religion conscientiously.)
Not trying to score a point off you. I understand both situations would be undesirable (that's how I'm interpreting you). I just want to see if you acknowledge there are some differences.
