Actually it depends on whether or not her tank is salt or fresh water. There are many salt water fish on the market that are taken directly from the wild as apposed to being captive bred. Pretty much all freshwater fish, as far as I know, are captive bred these days.

"Captivity" being the key word. She's supposed to be against that, too.

Oh ok, I wasnt aware she was supposed to be against that too lol. Im a college liberal, that is against wildlife smuggling, but works at a zoo so obviously not against animals in captivity, and I am against PETA. So thats why I was confused. I know, mind blown right?

Lol. I love zoos because it's the only way I can see those animals, but I only see that it's good if it's endangered animals being protected. That's got to be awesome seeing those animals everyday.
