Probably the best-selling meme war in recorded history. I'm not sure what was being sold, but it just sounds so well.

Remember how you were asking if it was recorded? I was thinking about that today and I thought of one way (maybe) to do it.

Every time we see a Connery/Kermit meme, if we can type a link in the meme comments that goes to another meme, then eventually they (or at least some of them) will be connected together in some way and people who like the one at the top can click on a link to go to another, and another etc...

What do you think?

The other way is for someone to go through and save them then make a "Meme Stream" (you can make your own Meme Stream under your profile where you can upload as many memes as you want, and people will see them if they visit that Meme Stream). But that would take more work.

Yea, like a vine that goes from one to another, that's the best way I've heard so far! It would take a little time, but from now on we could start linking them ! Thumbs up!

I think the easiest way to do it would be to just try to make a habit of having two tabs open on imgflip (if you can do that with your device), and then anytime you see any good Kermit meme, just copy and paste the url, then switch to the other tab, scroll until the very next Kermit meme you see and hey presto! paste in the comments. If we try to do 1 or 2 each time we're on imgflip gradually, and encourage others to do so eventually it'll be like a "Kermit Connery Death Match imgflip Walking Trail" lol.

It might be good to give a quick description when you paste the link, so people won't get annoyed if they click it and it's one they've seen before? I don't know. We'll see what happens with it. I'll try to do a few tonight.

Ok, sounds good, ill see if my tablet will keep two tabs open. Ill also look for a starting point, although I think it started before I came, or right when I came here, but ill look too!

Three possibles:

a. Start it from my "Captain America Iron Man" meme war one (with the pictures of Connery and Kermit.
Benefits - easy for me to find and go back to, sort of central to the theme, and won't risk annoying anyone else with notifications etc if it gets to be too many links branching back to that one point (if it's the nexus)

b. dh413's one, "the one that started it all" about 4-5 weeks ago that kicked off the comments
Benefits - seems more "legit" and "official" template to go back to and if people were looking for kermit connery meme wars they might think of that one first

c. Do the other way and instead of starting from the oldest one, start with the next Kermit Connery meme war that gets featured.
Benefits - that way it will be fresh, and might encourage people who don't know about it to start joining in (and maybe linking to), and has the added benefit of giving a bit of a "publicity" boost to the one who makes the next good Kermit Connery meme (I think when people comment on your meme it goes higher up the Hot list somehow).

OR...

we could just not plan it and just start posting links anywhere we feel like it in a haphazard way (which is kind of what I'm leaning towards right now) lol

I'm leaning the same way you are, at least we can see which one are done by seeing the link.

I think the most important thing is to give a brief desciption with each link. Then people can make up their own minds and kind of guide themselves rather than us having to map a particular route. I think that's the key.
