She wasn't religious when she had the kids, and I personally think she should resign or let someone else handle the marriages, but the corollary is still there- the Nazis at Nuremburg all said they were just following orders, like a good civil servant or a good soldier. Upon such things rests a great deal of evil.

The Supreme Court cannot make law. Constitutionally, they can judge whether a law is constitutional or not; it is not in their powers to make a law. There is no law on the books, passed by Congress and signed by the President, that makes gay marriage legal.

Just out of curiosity, what do you christians have against gay people to have to refuse them service. and before you use the same argument i see everywhere, no, it is not like making a Jewish person having serve a Nazi, becuase that is like saying a gay couple is to christian as Hitler is to the Jewish

No one is refusing service, though that should be your right on your property and in your business, but refusing to participate in a rite that you feel is against your religion is the problem.

The first amendment states freedom of religion...It literally means that one can practice their religion freely...that doesn't obligate them to force their views on other individuals. If they did that, that would be taking away the affected persons rights away
