Not really. If you (hypothetically) had 100 rabbits for breeding, but only bred a percentage of them, and just let the others die off without adding genetic contributions to the pool, and continued to decrease breeding by a percentage every generation, the gene pool gets very shallow and the result is deformities, cancers, mental disorders, infertility, and the list goes on.
And that was only talking about rabbits. Humans are the same. We have sex to pass on genetics. If you did without offspring (genetic not adoptive) your genes die wig you and the evolutionary tree is pruned. Less genetic availability.
This happens sometimes when people are born infertile, die in childhood, suffer accidents or violent attacks. When you add in deliberate lack of procreation due to homosexuality, the genetic pool is depleted still more.
And we wonder why the world keeps getting more and more insane. From all the contributing factors that are lowering the gene pool. (Not just homosexuality mind you, personally I'm not bothered, merely concerned)
