It isn't supposed to. Government is to stay out of religion. Not the other way around. A small group of jerks is trying to install atheism as the official religion of the US, and that's not constitutional.

Umm .. That's the point. So your church has no effect on the state. Whatever sec you belong to doesn't have to take gays. The marriages are only legal not biblical. If the man next door kisses another man's hairy ass, and it bothers you...you have a weak personal Constitution and insecurities. The whole point of America is the right to happiness as long as it doesn't hurt anyone.
