All the pastors, deacons, and other staff members in my church carry guns. They'll make sure a shooter doesn't spend his whole life awaiting execution.

The irony is the "gun control" we have now yields so many mass shootings, murders etc. So....we should make the laws looser? How about requiring gun owners to register their guns so they don't go "missing" and into the wrong hands?

All guns START OUT LEGAL.

But people with criminal records and mentally unstable people should not be allowed to carry guns, but should rather invest their money in councelling. People should also know how to use the weapon properly, and with that...comes gun courses. Considering almost 8000 people were accidentally killed by guns in the spring of 2014 (in the USA alone), says something about our current system

I agree that the mentally ill should not have access to firearms. Fyi: convicted felons are already restricted from owning/carrying a gun.

The thing is...it's not strictly enforced...Dylan Roof technically shouldn't have had a gun because he had a record...however, because there were no checks...he never had his weapon confiscated

Enforcement has always been an issue, and I suppose it always will be. This is a topic people get very emotional about, and logic goes out the window when emotions get involved.

I'm not a control freak liberal...I think abortion is the woman's choice before a certain point in her pregnancy...I also believe that guns should be limited to a certain extent (hunters and ranchers need guns to do their jobs)...I feel that public services should not be privatized unless a certain need is met; prisons are private and because they are not full, the owners of the company want to sue the government, and healthcare is super expensive for most people... I believe that public college and healthcare should be available to all, preferably at no expense. I believe that we should provide air strikes againsd the Islamic state, as an aid to the Kurds. We should not ever use ground troops unless we are to seize the land for ourselves. I also believe that all races should be treated equally ethically
