Actually, the three theres refer to the different... what are they called. You know what I mean. Location vs possession vs contractions. So wouldn't this be a job for a grammar nazi?
For example, grammar nazis are for: I was ran to the lake.
While spelling nazis are for: I was runing to the lake.

With that reasoning, it could be for both.

Well, you know. The grammar nazis are for things like tenses, people who have the mentality of an elementary school student because they use the wrong "there" or the wrong "your"... etc.
Spelling nazis are for the people who either have a crappy keyboard (much like me) or for those who are that special kind of stupid.

I just think of it that when there is a spelling error, call in the Spelling Nazi. When there is punctuation problems and whatnot, Grammar Nazi is the guy.
