yes, but its more than worth it considering the things it can do, you can even watch your tv using computers (which would have an hd screen). portable hdtv+portable gaming of all types+internet+programming+bitcoin mine material+microsoft office+ photoshop+ ability to customize it inside and out= worth every penny.
