The huge age gap between some couples

No, nobody should care if it's care if it's legal and both people are full grown adults. It should NOT be investigated because the younger person is not a minor. It's only "dangerous" if the younger person isn't 18 yet. Making a big deal out of an 18-25 year old dating someone who just happens to be more than a decade older than them makes you look like a douche and people need to stop infantilizing adults younger than 30.

I made this comment long ago, Ive changed since. However its worth mentioning that I dont consider anyone below the age of 20 an adult, for eighTEEN and nineTEEN yos, as the name implies, are teens who are barely out of highschool. I could care less who dates who song long as their 20 or more. While i dont have problems with age gap relationships, the aoc definately needs to be raised to 20, cause going after highschool seniors is not okay.

The law considers 18 and 19 year old adults, and you are not the law. Once you turn 18, you are comsidered an adult. It's been that way since the dawn of time. End of story.

Thats the exact oppposite of the truth. Historically the aoa has been lower than 18. In the US it was originally 21 but it was later lowered to 18 to drag younger people to war. Other countries either lowered or raised it to 18 due to ''inspiration'' from the US.

And you clearly have no idea that during the pleistocene the moment people where capable of reproduction they where considered adults even before reaching 20.

Legality and morality aint the same thing. In ancient times the age of adulthood was lower. The idea of calling 18 yo teens "adults" is an obsolete concept. Again i have no issue with age gap relationships but those under 20 shoudnt be considered adults anymore.

Yes they should. The law still considers 18 and 19 year olds adults whether you like it or not.
