Caused the housing bubble that destroyed our economy.. assuming you're talking about the affordable housing government quotas for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac- they were raised under Clinton(D) in the year 2000 and raised again under Bush(R) in 2007.. Then Obama enacted a bunch of regulations/protection to try and prevent something like that from happening again... and now the people currently in charge are trying to get rid of said Obama-era protections.

Repubelickins eased constraints and regulations on financial institutions, which caused the housing bubble. Democrats also got us out of the Depression, gave us social security, and health care. It's like somewhere the parties got flipped. Oh for someone like Lincoln or FDR today!
