We've had similar cases involving priests from the Catholic Church here in America, as well as other places throughout the world, like Canada and Ireland. We've also had them involving clergy from other denominations as well.

With the Catholic Church being such a large body and also happening to document everything and storing the records away, it is easier to focus on them. But with smaller sects with more independent churches, it's a little easier to keep these things secret. So we don't hear about them as much.
