No. I worked for Gallup in the 80s. They sent you places to get the responses THEY WANTED. They sent me to an abortion mill to poll people about infanticide. They sent me to Dukakis campaign HQ to poll people there about his chances, etc.
When I decided to quit I started ignoring where they sent me to get canned responses and went to nursing homes, Army Surplus stores, the VFW etc.
