Everything becomes math

Everything becomes math | Two kids are going trick-or-treating. One of them goes to the neighborhood where they get 5 pieces of candy per house. The other one goes to the neighborhood where they get 1 piece of candy per house, but they bought a bag with 8 pieces of candy in it. What are 3 good math questions we could ask about this system of linear relationships? | image tagged in candy corn,it's a gift, math, problems, middle school, halloween | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

a) When they visit x houses each, they have an equal number of candies. Find x
b) When the first kid has visited 3 houses, how many houses will the second kid have to had visited to have the same number of candies as the first kid?
c) Till what point does the second kid have more candies than the first kid?
