Why do Lefists support far-right Muslims?

Iranian Revolution in 1979: leftists, liberals, and Islamists allied to overthrow the Shah, despite opposite visions for the future. After the Shah fell, the Islamists consolidated power and suppressed their former leftist allies.

Why are Leftists supporting Islam in the US? Like so many Leftist ideas, it makes no logical sense.

Yes, they are — Zohran Mamdani, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Abdul El-Sayed. Their policies are anti-Jewish and pro-Palestine. They are all associated with the left and the Democratic Party.

Once the Islamists take control, they will kill all the commies.
