I mischaracterized nothing. You grossly exaggerate the importance of pursuing misdemeanor offenses while you overlook government malfeasance, sedition, murder, warfare, freedom of speech/press issues and the tRUmp family ignoring emoluments issues and enriching themselves from the Oval Office. I say "immigrant" and you assume "illegal criminal". This is YOUR trigger, not mine. I grew up singing "Give me your tired, your poor..." As if it's such a big deal even if a few people jumped the border-- horrible! But tRump suppressing free speech, clamping down on reporters, using his power to bully women, covering up for people abusing children and his guilt in sexual assault and stealing government records and trying to throw elections-- not so bad!
