On Monday night, a gunman opened fire in the parking lot of Venture-N, a gay bar in Tucson, Arizona, around 12:30 a.m. Two men were killed in the attack. The two victims, Antifa associate Cameron Davis Capara, 33, and Vincent Anthony Siqueiros, 42, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead shortly after.
Tucson police have now identified 44-year-old Ousman Ceesay as the shooter, and the incident is being investigated as a possible hate crime.
Reports say Ceesay was born in The Gambia, where about 95% of Gambians are Muslim, but his background has not been confirmed.
