Bill Gates' ability to see things at a scale most people can't fathom helped him turn what IBM created and sold to him for pocket change, into MS-DOS, launching Microsoft into the stratosphere.
But the ability to see large like that doesn't necessarily give him the ability to see small. He sees human population as a number to *solve*.
He, like you and I, are all simply individuals, making up the mass of humanity.
But Bill sees himself as better than us.
Above all of us.
Above that mass of humanity of which he himself is also a part, as though he is entitled to decide how many people is enough for the planet.
I thought that was God Almighty's job.
What hubris.
