Anyone who thinks Universal Healthcare is great never sat in a hospital in WV listening to brits and Canadians bitching about it.
They waited 5 years. They took out loans and FLEW or drove here and PAID UP FRINT for knee and hip replacement surgery. They cried when they found out my insurance paid 80% and I only waited a few weeks until my employer could find someone to fill in for me.
I would say most people can afford it should buy their own healthcare and private insurance but hard working class families should get government assistance if they really can't afford anything.
