Last part is somewhat confirmed by AM already, critical meltdown is terrifying | Random thing about how I imagine Data and Sap are as parents to Soul, and a doodle I made while coming up with this; I imagine Data gives soul a lot of freedom, with minimal direct punishment for her actions since she believes the result to be a good enough punishment in most cases. "Broke a plate? Ok, clean it up." ... Though she does have the issue of letting things get out of hand. If somebody has to be the voice of reason it's not gonna be her. Sap on the other hand (headcanon) is the opposite. Very protective for better or worse, sometimes treating her as if a gust of wind could damage her because of how much he cares. Despite sometimes being a bit restricting out of concern for her safety if something ever did happen to her whoever caused it, if anyone, is gonna regret it. You know you're screwed when the angry black and pink checkerboard is staring you down... or worse, when you don't know it is. This results in them sort of filling in for each other wherever they fall short, Data in moderating what Soul should and shouldn't be allowed to do and Sap in knowing when she can handle herself.
