The hard truth is no large islamic organization has ever come and spoken out against jihad as a six-century requirement with zero place in the modern world. The best you get is a spokesperson, warning about blowback, warning against islamophobia (not a real thing). If you look hard enough you can usually find the same spokesperson calling for violence in a different language. The say whatever you need to hide the goal of forced compliance to islam has always been an islamic tactic.
Bottom line if you have to use force to stop people from exposing the truth, you are already on the wrong side of the issue. Every time you see the term islamophobia your brain should read it as islamoawarness. Islamophobia is just a made-up word to justify censorship and avoid hard discussions. Statements like 75% of all muslims are peaceful are meaningless without knowing what percentage of them are willing to defend non-muslims from the jihadists.
The negative image of islam would end over night with the founding of a group willing to call out the radicals, expose them and help take them down. Step one would be a new class of imams calling for the immediate end to jihad in all forms as a religious requirement. We all know it will never happen. So muslims speak up, what will work?
