I WAS a Democrat when you grew up. By 1989 the old populist Democrats were getting squeezed out by Marxist Demorhhoids who believed Vote Fraud and Welfare Freebies were the keys to the kingdom.

I was a demorrhoid of course because that's how decent working families were back then.
Until I finally grew up -- way beyond raising kids by then -- "politically" and realized what the hey is really going on. That was about 10 years ago.
