No. My landlord was a nice guy. He didn't raise my rent in the 16 years since I moved in back in 2001. I paid $300 a month for a 2 bedroom house across the street from the police station and city hall.
I've not had a landlord since I moved.
Now when something goes wrong I have to fix it myself.
