I worked at a drug rehab. It's the hardest drug to get people off of. IF they could it took 6 months. Conversely I saw people quit cocaine in 2 weeks on average.
Then it dawned on me... in the 1890s (The Age of Common Sense) Dr's and pharmacists believed Cocaine was a harmless stimulant suitable for soft drinks and Marijuana was a dangerous narcotic.
For 7 years I saw pothead after pothead choose going to jail over freedom; pick showering with dudes over sleeping with their wives or raising their kids. And ot blew my mind how many of these assholes couldn't even wait to get home to smoke - they lit up behind the wheel. 70% of the DUIs in my county were potheads driving high.
