Anyone who ever had a minimum wage job knows that when the minimum wage goes up your take home pay after taxes stays the same.
I had one of those jobs 10 years. My pay went from $3.15 an hour to $5+. After taxes it was the same $105 bucks.
The government got those raises not us.
If anyone really wanted to give minimum wage employees a raise all they have to do is give em a tax cut. That won't increase inflation either.
