Fairly comical to lump those two together. Truman lived nearly 50 years after Wilson died.
Truman was only Vice President for 82 days when FDR died. So, it's tough to lump them together with a long history of working together. This just wasn't so.
Truman also devised and implemented the Marshall Plan in Europe in WW2 aftermath.
He is responsible for ENDING WW2 in the Pacific Theatre, swiftly and decisively. Most socialists are educated with college degrees ... Truman is none of that. Also, Truman did sign onto the creation of the state of Israel. Although he was against this until his house was bombed. His daughter notes this in her biography of her father. Truman did not like Commie Russians. So to say he's socialist is a stretch.
The buck stops here, is an expression of blue collar mentality
of individual accountability and responsibility.
Not exactly a hallmark calling card of a socialist.
We'd all be better off, if todays Democrat Party had more Harry S. Truman's in it.
