The 5th amendment is a right and can be applied at any time for any reason however it’s absurd for fauci to only plead the 5th even with mountains of evidence against him
He's doing it because he's being sued in state courts and could face criminal charges in those states.
Personally I think Fauci should face the death penalty 2x over, but let's not infringe on his 5th amendment rights or we'll be next.
