Maybe if they didn’t make the decision to lock publishing Roblox games behind age checks and a subscription and banned predators off their platform they wouldn’t be in this situation

If the devs can’t create viral games, there won’t be ANY viral games on roblox
And since roblox locked making roblox games for all ages behind a subscription and age verification, small creators can’t create viral roblox games anymore

And why do you think there's a lack of new viral games? Not only did Roblox lock publishing games behind a monthly subscription AND age verification, but they also made it so you need 500 HIGHLY ENGAGED PLAYERS or they lock your game to a 16+ AGE RATING, basically sabotaging your chances to build an audience for your game, therefore preventing your new game from going viral.

The only way to even have a chance of reaching 500 highly engaged players is to run ad campaigns, which can cost 200+ real American dollars. Or you can pay 1,000 DOLLARS TO SKIP ALL OF THAT!!!!!

Roblox blames us for being unable to make new viral games, while they actively prevent us from being able to do so. It's like stabbing yourself in the heart with a knife, but blaming the knife for killing you.

the changes were designed to bring about breakthrough games aimed at older audiences

Yes, that is true. Until you realize that the "breakthrough" games aren't new whatsoever. Therefore, Roblox is still pushing already big games into our faces, therefore not allowing new and smaller games to get the audience needed for 500 highly engaged players, therefore causing them to be locked behind a 16+ age rating, therefore making them unable to go viral.

Idk why you're still arguing about this. The answer is clear.

the breakthrough games that roblox had that brought its stocks up high were grow a garden and steal a brainrot but those games are dead and they do not match the vision roblox has for the platform which is why they made the changes to the developer requirements

And you can see that by adding these newer developer requirements, they heavily lowered the chances of having new games go viral. Roblox basically shot themselves in the foot, while claiming that we we're the ones who shot them. There's no need to be debating about this.

they have not because like I said the changes are designed to bring about breakthrough games aimed at older audiences and also they make it so most developers are serious instead of hobbyists
