This is FACT!
All 7 defendants in the Feeding Our Future fraud trial just got arrested after a juror was bribed with $120,000 in cash.
A woman showed up at a juror’s house Sunday night with a white gift bag stuffed with rolls of $100s, $50s, and $20s. She told the juror’s relative: tell Juror #52 to say “not guilty” tomorrow and there will be more money.
The juror called 911. The FBI has the cash.
U.S. District Judge Nancy Brasel ordered every single defendant taken into custody Monday night. They wept as U.S. Marshals cuffed them.
Their phones were seized. The remaining jurors are now sequestered.
Prosecutors say the seven defendants on trial are East African. The woman who delivered the bribe was described as Somali. The judge noted only seven people besides the lawyers had access to the juror’s identity.
This is part of the massive $250 million theft from a federal program meant to feed kids. These seven alone are charged with stealing $41 million.
Defense attorneys called the bribe “un-American.” The prosecutor’s reply was blunt: “Let’s be honest, it wasn’t someone outside of this room.”
Jury tampering with $120k in cash. In Minnesota. In 2024.
This is what happens when you look the other way on industrial-scale fraud.
