There are literally hundreds of examples, but just one is Florida's "don't say gay bill" that would make it illegal for teachers to even mention gender identity or sexual orientation in public schools all the way through 12th grade. If it's illegal for you to talk about your very existence, that's oppression.

Liberals are not passing laws making it illegal to say that conservatives or Christians exist. Imagine how scared conservatives have to be to make it illegal for teachers to even talk about other people existing.

In some states where Republicans are outlawing trans athletes competing on the team they want, the state doesn't even have a single trans athlete. Imagine how cowardly you have to be to pass a law that doesn't even affect anybody because you're so terrified of people who are different

And that's not even getting into the Republicans who are trying to pass laws making same-sex marriage or same-sex activity illegal again, something which doesn't affect them at all

Laws are being enacted to keep indoctrination out of education to children.
Like the rest of us they can discover their sexuality on their own and as an adult make any decision they want to instead of being taught they might be this or that. It's not up to educators to instil an identity into them.

There are numerous cases of conservative Christians attacking and murdering gay people and transgender people. Just one example is conservative Christian terrorist Eric Rudolph setting off a bomb outside a gay bar.

Christians don't have any history of hanging people from church steeples, so it's really weird that you try to make that the bar that has to be met. Muslims don't hang people from the top of mosques so by your logic Muslims are not violent.
