Yes digital ID is certainly a concerning violation of our rights and basic freedoms. You do realize the the government is also likely to implement digital ID and other tyrannical surveillance systems under the guise of other things that are gonna sound appealing to you such as curbing illegal immigration and preventing crime. I know how much you love to defend ICE but you don't seem to realize that things the government does they claim will only affect illegal immigrants is likely to be a slippery slope leading to violation of your basic civil liberties too.
