No. Trying to run over someone with a vehicle is assault with a deadly weapon. You assault someone with a deadly weapon and get shot, that's SELF DEFENSE.
Shooting somebody in the face because they had something of a close approximation to the skin tone of someone else that they were looking for is not self-defense. That's murder.
