You bore me with your ignorance. The citizens vote in the primaries for delegates. The delegates vote at the convention as representatives of the citizens. The party nominates a candidate based on the votes of the delegates, then once again the citizens vote for the candidate of their choice. The states have electors who then vote in the electoral college based on the votes of the citizens in a brilliant system that keeps populous urban centers from determining the national presidency while still having their interests within reasonable proportion. Look at the american communist party, Biden cinched the nomination based on the popular vote, but was removed by the party and replaced by the party with Kmala. Bernie was running away with the nomination and the DNC used SUper Delegates to negate the democrat popular vote and put Hillary in as the nominee. Platner swept the democrat party in Maine and the DNC took him out by revealing his dirt before the deadline designating him the nominee from Maine and they are going to replace him how?
