https://imgflip.com/i/awcois - for reference of the skin layers - hypodermis is the last skin layer since its the layer of fat directly above muscle - dermis is the layer above hypodermis and is the thickest layer - and epidermis is the top skin layer.
it is very easy to see what layer a wound is at for me - please ask me if you dont know how deep a cut - or any wound - is.

To my knowledge, everything tgat bleeds is dermis or deeper while a yellowish layer at the bottom of a cut indicates a cut into the hypodermis. Is that correct?
And how deep do you usually get with scissors when you cut yourself intensely (rage and panic at the moment it happened. Was very reckless bc it was a very bad situation with a lot of panic, didn't consider the pain and potential scars)? I've done that twice over the last couple weeks, and I'd like to know how deep and how serious it can get.

It depends on the sharpness of the scissors, but usually you can't get to hypodermis at all.
And, you are technically correct, though I wouldn't consider it fully dermis by just telling the bleeding.
A yellowish layer usually means hypodermis, yes, but, if it's already bleeding, it tends to have a bump where you fully hit the hypodermis.

It can still get extremely serious, though. Not necessarily the wounds, but the addiction. I highly encourage you to do what you can to find a better coping mechanism, but I know it can be hard.
