Yes. Autism is not disruptional in itself, it's more because the world is built for neurotypical people. Autism is a divergence from the neurotypical, it's a different way the brain works, not exactly an illness. As an autistic person, I must say that most of my problems (apart from dysphoria and stuff) stem from not fitting in with the world and not knowing how to operate in it bc it's not built for everyone to live in it. Autism has no cure, you need to learn how to live with it and learn mechanisms to get over certain barriers.
