How do you attack people with art?

Artfight is a website where you 'attack' other people by drawing one of their characters and the person you 'attacked' might draw your character as 'revenge'.

Is it all year round or is it just once a year? I've seen people talk about it on roblox in the drawing communities before and I've been curious but too lazy to make an account or even just lurk
