I guess the moral of the story is I for one believe soda and sugar is sometimes necessary to survive. But I also find it ironic the increase in kidney cancers and disease in society than the production of energy drinks might be connected. And the sale and hypocritical upbringing of food choices in our public schools .. If your catching my sprinkle brownie drift... Once sold as a staple for highschool students in America to get through the day in lunch lines like a series monopoly. I know it has changed but I remember the freedom to choose my lunch in middle school America surrounded a huge option of cake and chips. Not ideal for a generation. Luckily the kids today have someone looking after their health. I believe it's a good thing, but I also believe that our government should regulate companies in the consumer protection sect of things. Because I personally love chips and sweet snacks and soda pop, but I don't want to be sold metal particles, cake fillers, toxic corn syrup, plastics, toxic food dye. ( look up the usa government solution on selling toxic corn to African countries) which leads me to the thought that we also can't trust a government that would poison another country with spoiled gdp..... We live in a harsh reality
..... Well at least I live in a harsh reality. .... Parents who have children who rely on food stamps to get through the month should be limited to which food groups should be purchased. Talk to a CPS worker. When all a kid eats is potato chips, and only drinks sweet drinks, and the cupboards are filled with pre packaged junk food, no fruit or veggies in the fridge, then you might consider the snap food regulations. And as for the food pantries, they need to stop handing out expired food. If state regulations require grocery stores to toss expired food it shouldn't be handed out to struggling families.
