So if you don't know what Dream Team Supreme is, it's a co-op strategy game where you help a team of scientists control a two-headed robot superhero known as Super Supreme to fight villains and monsters terrorizing the world!
The way it works is that you, and perhaps another player, choose two scientists to pilot Super Supreme. In order to fight a foe, you have to install cartridges into a sequence. The cartridges do all sorts of things like attack, block, and burn the foe. The foes themselves have their own cartridges to fight back too, and you must strategically place yours to outsmart and defeat them. When you defeat a foe, you get two more cartridges and a modification that can help you in the game.
There are also little story parts in the game, where you can choose to do a certain action before fighting a villain for a chance to get more cartridges and modifications.
Matthew is an official artist for the game and has drawn some comics based on the characters for those story parts!
So the characters are the following:
- Bruce Force (Man in blue), a scientist who works in engineering
- Dr. Pierre Turner PHD (Man in orange), a scientist who specializes in physics, math, and philosophy
- Toast2 (Girl in pink), a scientist who's known for computer science
There are two other scientists who will appear in the game, but it's only those three in the comics. We also see some of the villains and monsters, too!
If this game ever hits it big, I'd be DOWN for an official story-driven comic series. How did the scientists all meet? How did they get the idea to pilot a giant two-headed robot? How did all the foes come to be? Maybe the creators will answer those questions in the future...
